The Good Wife
When her husband is jailed after a humiliating sex and political corruption scandal, Alicia Florrick (Juliana Margulies, Canterbury’s Law, ER) returns to the criminal courtrooms of Chicago to work as a defense attorney. Starting over isn’t easy. After 13 years of being out of the courtroom, Alicia must learn how to negotiate the challenges of working in an intensely competitive law firm. Alicia’s main adversary is Cary (Matt Czuchry, Gilmore Girls), a recent Harvard grad who is dead-set to land the one available full-time position. As Alicia gains confidence, she sheds her previous identity as the scored politician’s wife and takes charge of her own destiny, changing her life’s path from being “the good wife” to a success in her own right.
