Canwest Programming Highlights:
HoSurvivor grabbed a spot in the top 5 for all reported demos! Simpsons and Family Guy were top 10 for A18-49 and top 3 for A18-34! The Saturday Night Live Election Special (Mon 8p) was top 10 for A18-49 and A25-54 and top 20 for W25-54 and A18-34. A repeat episode of House that aired on the night of the U.S. election still managed to hold on to a top 20 position for A18-49, W25-54 and A25-54! The Office and King of the Hill were just outside the top 20 for A18-49.
Canwest accounted for 8/5/7/9 of the top 25 for the key demos: A18-49, A25-54, W25-54, and A18-34.
Competitive Programming:
Grey’s Anatomy (CTV) was the top program for A18-49 and W25-54. Desperate Housewives (CTV) was the #2 program for F25-54 and was top 3 for A18-49. Amazing Race (CTV) was the top program for A25-54 and was in the top five for A18-49 and F25-54. ER (CTV) was top 10 for A18-49 and the top 5 for F25-54. Two and a Half Men (A) was top 20 for A18-49. The Daily Show Special (“Indecision America”) was top 10 for A18-34 and top 20 for all other reported demos.
