Canwest Programming Highlights:
Monday and Tuesday's regular schedule was pre-empted for the 2008 US Election Specials. Family Guy, House (Wed) and Survivor were in the Top 10. Ranked third overall Family Guy sailed pass through projection across all demos earning over 100% more ratings. Following previous trend A18-34 placed it on top raking in just below 14. Finished seventh House was repeat winning Wednesday's primetime. A fraction lower Survivor was next steadily securing most main demos. Bones flaunted it this week piling up extra ratings. It's in the Top 5 A25-54 and F25-54. The Saturday Night Live Special: Presidential Bash 2008 proved potent taking Monday's primetime.
The News Hour was marginally higher ranked the same at 17th A25-54.
Canwest accounted for 11/9/8/11 of the Top 25 against key demos, A18-49, A25-54, F25-54 and A18-34.
Competitive Programming:
The Canucks hosting and beating Minnesota finally provided CBC with the first top spot this Fall. ER made significant gains on 18-34 & 18-49. The younger demo ranked it 4th this week, a huge jump from 22nd last week.
